DAY OF RESISTANCE
Tuesday October 22 | 5:30 pm | NH City Hall
On October 22 people across the country will be taking to the streets to protest police brutality, deportation, and mass incarceration. This is the 18th year of the October 22 Coalition – National Day of Protest Against Police Brutality, Repression, and the Criminalization of a Generation (www.october22.org) with people throughout the country standing up in rallies, protests, marches. We have been working during October Month of Resistance to organize a rally and march in New Haven. As a local community organization that cares about issues of detention, deportation, brutality, and mass incarceration we wanted to invite you to the March and Rally on Wednesday 10/22 at 5:30PM at the New Haven City Hall on the Green. New Haven WILL NOT stand for the criminalization of black, brown, and queer bodies.
