The participants in this panel discussion examine South African contemporary art from multiple perspectives. Zanele Muholi is an artist whose photographs are included in the Gallery’s exhibition Contemporary Art/South Africa. Judy Hecker is Assistant Curator in the Department of Prints and Illustrated Books at the Museum of Modern Art, New York. Chika Okeke-Agulu, Associate Professor at Princeton University, is an artist, art historian, and curator specializing in African and African diaspora art history. Moderated by Kate Ezra, the Nolen Curator of Academic Affairs.
