Race, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Colloquium & Medieval Colloquium: Samantha Zacher, Cornell University

Samantha Zacher is Associate Professor of English at Cornell University. Professor Zacher’s current research investigates the treatment of Jews in in medieval literature, and her visit provides an excellent opportunity to engage with representations of Jewishness in early medieval England. Professor Zacher is currently preparing a volume of essays for publication, entitled Imagining the Jew in Anglo-Saxon Literature and Culture; this event will provide Yale’s graduate students and faculty members with the opportunity to work closely with some of her emerging research on this subject.
